Gill Hall

Manager Rehabilitation, ACC 

Gill has spent 28 years working in the health sector in both the UK and NZ and trained as a physiotherapist. Her current role is to lead ACC’s contribution to a national programme improving services for older people – falls and fracture prevention and rehabilitation – Live Stronger for Longer.

Across the country health professionals, district health boards, exercise providers, community organisations and carers are working together to increase the availability of local strength and balance exercise classes and services that can help prevent falls; and also increase awareness about the importance of bone health. Live Stronger for Longer is a national movement aimed at making it easier for older people to stay active and independent and help reduce the risk of falls.
