Free and confidential support, advocacy and information for people facing elder abuse.
Services also offer education for people working with and caring for older people, and public awareness-raising activities aimed at early identification and prevention of elder abuse or neglect.

24 services are part-funded by the Ministry of Social Development, Family and Community Services. Of these, 19 are provided by Age Concern councils with the remainder provided by other not-for-profit organisations. Age Concern also runs two additional services which do not receive MSD funding.
Age Concern New Zealand also has a National Co-ordination role to support and develop all services.
