Christianah Adesina is on the Doctor of Health Science Programme at Auckland University of Technology. Christianah has worked in various nursing settings, including Public Health, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, Aged Care, Community Geriatric Service and Nursing Education. Christianah has a passion and care for older people, which is what brought her to nursing. Through her research, Christianah hopes to encourage reflection on how we can care for older people better without providing medications as the first interventions (when not required) – especially when the risks outweigh the benefits.
Christianah also loves writing poetry.
