Dr Sophie Nock is an Associate Professor in Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao/Faculty of Māori & Indigenous Studies at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. Sophie is of Ngāti Kurī descent from the Far North.
Sophie has been primarily involved in teaching and researching Te Reo Māori, and has published in those areas. Sophie is a Co-Principal Investigator and Associate Investigator on a number of research projects investigating housing concerns and health & wellbeing-related outcomes for kaumātua. She is also a researcher on the concussion recovery assessments in adolescence & childhood project.
