Karen Mumme’s regular life involves moving around New Zealand with dancing shoes and tramping boots. In her other life, Karen is in her final PhD year at the College of Health, Massey University. Karen is interested in older adults, what they are eating and how it affects health outcomes - in particular, metabolic syndrome and cognitive function. In her presentation, Karen will share about the dietary patterns of older adults and how these patterns are associated with metabolic syndrome and cognitive function.
