Dr Rosie Gibson

Research Officer, Sleep/Wake Research Centre
Massey University

Dr Rosie Gibson has a background in aged care, psychology, and clinical sleep medicine.  Rosie will share some of her post-doctoral work concerning the thematic analysis of comments from family carers. This describes the variable and often disrupted nature of sleep within families living with dementia. She will also highlight the importance of sleep health for maintaining goals around living well with ageing, dementia and caregiving.

Prior to entering motherhood (and her own chapter of sleep deprivation), Rosie trained as an aerial circus performer.
