Robyn Gibson

PhD Candidate
University of Auckland

Robyn Gibson is a Speech Language Therapist who has currently stepped back from clinical work at Waitematā DHB to finish her PhD. Robyn’s presentation is sharing the outcomes of interviews with people with aphasia about their experiences of speech language therapy and stroke services. Robyn hopes her presentation reminds health professionals of their impact in the lives of the people they work with and reignites enthusiasm for providing gold-standard rehabilitation.

Robyn lives in West Auckland with her family and spends most of her time taking small children to activities and reading them books about superheroes.
