Structure

Age Concern New Zealand structure

We are a national organisation with 34 member councils around New Zealand. Each local Age Concern pays a membership fee to use the Age Concern name and brand. They retain this by meeting the Standards of Membership requirements. The member councils each have an independent governance board elected by the local members to carry out their strategic plans, this includes Age Concern New Zealand.

Age Concern New Zealand Governance Board is elected by delegates from the member councils at the AGM. Member councils are not managed by Age Concern New Zealand but guided and supported to deliver the vision, mission and values through their work around in New Zealand.
